Your hands allowed you to create - to paint, to write.
Your eyes have seen many beautiful things that still make you smile.
Your lips have told people how much they matter.
The scars are the proof that you’ve healed.
Your heart constantly beats, keeping you here.
It’s time to make peace with the mirror, and the nervous system that keeps you in pain. To treat your body not as something to fix, but as something that has stayed - through every fall, every heartbreak, every morning you didn’t think you could face.
